Maundy Thursday
It is the night where leadership looks different.
Jesus kneels.
He washes feet.
He shares a table with friends and even with the one who will betray Him.
In that simple act, He reshapes everything.
Not power over people, but love that serves.
Not status, but humility.
Not control, but surrender.
For us in WEAVE, this is our foundation.
To welcome one another at the table.
To engage with hearts open.
To appreciate the dignity in every culture.
To empower others, even when it costs us.
Tonight, we remember:
The Church becomes most like Christ when it chooses the towel over the throne.
“Love one another as I have loved you.” (John 13:34)
