Looking ahead to the “Made in the Image of God” Intercultural Art Exhibition
Every generation leaves behind its art — its stories painted, sculpted, sung, or captured in light. But few exhibitions carry a message as timeless and tender as this one:We are all made in the image of God.
As part of the upcoming Manchester ICCT Gathering (February 5–6, 2026), the “Made in the Image of God” Intercultural Art Exhibition will bring together artists from different cultural backgrounds to celebrate the beauty of our shared humanity. It will be a space where creativity meets theology, and art becomes a bridge between people, cultures, and faith.
Seeing Through God’s Eyes
The idea behind the exhibition is simple yet profound — every brushstroke tells a story, and every face reflects His image. When we look at one another through the lens of God’s creativity, we see more than colour, heritage, or difference. We see divine fingerprints.
The art displayed will remind us that we are not random expressions of beauty — we are reflections of the Creator Himself. Each canvas, each art, each poem invites us to see what God sees: worth, wonder, and sacred possibility.
In a world that often divides, this exhibition offers a different kind of vision — one that unites.
Where Art Becomes Worship
Art has always had a way of reaching the heart before it reaches the mind.It stirs something deep — a memory of Eden, a longing for heaven. That is the power of this intercultural exhibition: it transforms observation into worship.
As you walk through the gallery, you’ll see African warmth, Asian depth, and European detail blending into one breathtaking story — a story of grace revealed through cultural diversity.
Here, art is not decoration. It is declaration.A statement that our differences do not divide us; they display God’s glory.
A Reflection of the Kingdom
The exhibition is more than an event — it’s a glimpse of the Kingdom.A place where “every tribe and tongue and nation” bring their gifts before the throne (Revelation 7:9).It’s a reminder that God’s creativity didn’t stop in Genesis; it continues in us.
When artists from different cultures create together, something sacred happens.Walls fall. Hearts open. And the world catches an echo of heaven — the sound of every nation worshipping as one.
