Transitioning from ICCT Gathering to Weave Gathering

As the Intercultural Church and City Transformation Gathering ICCT has evolved, something deeper has emerged, a movement formed by relationships, shared stories, intercultural worship, and a longing for unity across our cities. Alongside this, a new digital expression is launching soon through the WEAVE-ICCT App, creating a space for all things Intercultural, where people can learn, , connect, grow together everyday and get instant updates on Weave-ICCT Gathering in Manchester. We needed a name that captured this heartbeat and the expanding ways God is weaving us into one community. That is why the ICCT Gathering now carries a new name: WEAVE - Weaving Cultures. Building Community. Inspiring Change.

What WEAVE Means

Imagine a loom: each thread beautiful in its own colour and texture yet transformed when woven together into a single tapestry.
This is the heart of WEAVE — a movement that gathers people, honours difference, and strengthens the whole.

Bringing People Together

WEAVE brings churches, civic leaders, workplaces, young people, elders from diverse communities into one shared story. As our gifts and experiences come together - cultural diversity becomes beauty and difference becomes strength.

Healing What Is Broken

Our cities carry deep fractures - across race, tribe, class, denomination, generation, and background. WEAVE leans into the broken places with courage, stitching hope and belonging where people often feel unseen or unheard.

Honouring God’s Design

Every person carries the Imago Dei. As cultures are woven together, we reveal God’s intention from the beginning - a people whose many faces and languages reflect His glory.

Faith in Action

WEAVE is practical. It comes alive through gatherings, the WEAVE app, leadership pathways, ambassadors, worship, community projects, and city partnerships.
This is faith rolled up at the sleeves - learning, praying, serving, and building bridges.
